"Chelsea" has announced the transfer of Yisa Alao, the left-back from "Sheffield Wednesday".
Idman.Biz reports, citing the club's official website, that the 17-year-old footballer has signed a contract with the "Blues" until 2028.
Alao came through the "Sheffield Wednesday" academy and made his debut for the "Owls" first team in August last year. Since then, he has played in four more games, including a recent FA Cup game against "Brentford" and a Championship match against "Portsmouth" in the starting lineup.
The contract is worth approximately £500,000 (€575,000). However, if all conditions are met, the contract could exceed £1 million (€1.15 million).
After 23 games, the London club is fifth in the league standings with 37 points. The gap to leaders "Arsenal" is 13 points.
