The Football Association (FA) has charged London's Chelsea club with breaches related to working with agents.
Idman.biz reports that journalist Ben Jacobs announced this on the X social network.
Chelsea is accused of violating FA regulations governing the activities of agents 74 times between 2009 and 2022.
"This mainly relates to the 2010/2011-2015/2016 seasons when Roman Abramovich ran the club. Chelsea have until September 19 to respond," Jacobs wrote.
Chelsea are second in the English Premier League table in the 2025/2026 season. The team has scored seven points in three games.
