Former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher has criticized the team after their 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth in the 23rd round of the English Premier League.
Idman.Biz reports that Carragher believes that this team, which has the highest salary in the Premier League, does not meet the league's standards.
"We're watching a team in the Premier League that aren't meeting Premier League standards. When you see what Manchester United and Chelsea have been doing in the last few weeks, you realize Liverpool could finish completely outside the Champions League spots. I'm really worried about them. They missed out on the Champions League as current champions, spent £450 million and have the highest wage bill in the Premier League. I think there are serious questions to be asked of the manager," Carragher told Sky Sports.
After 23 games in the English Premier League, Liverpool has 36 points and is in sixth place in the standings.
