"Araz-Nakhchivan" and the football player Vanderson Melo have terminated the contract concluded between them by mutual agreement. Sport24.az reports that the club's press service has released information about this.
Melo gave a short statement on the website of the Premier League representative:
"I spent 3 interesting seasons here. We had successful results, and games we regretted. Last season, the team took third place for the first time in its history and gained the right to play in European cups. In the UEFA Conference League, we beat a strong opponent like "Aris" and advanced to the next stage. As for the current season, we can only regret it. Because we could not achieve the goal set for us.
I thank the club management for creating the conditions for me to be here. I hope that next season "Araz-Nakhchivan" will perform better than now and achieve success."
Vanderson has been playing for the "red-whites" since the 2023-2024 season.
