Thanks to the professionalism of the coaching staff, the players quickly adapted to each other and to the team's game philosophy. We are trying to maintain a stable line in terms of both game and result. Of course, we have lost points in some matches and it is important for us to draw the right conclusions from these games. In general, the results of the first round show that "Imishli" continues its activities purposefully and we hope that the team will achieve better results in the future thanks to its existing potential.
- Many did not expect such a successful performance from the debutant "Imishli" at the start of the season. Was it a surprise for you too, or...?
- From the outside, these results may seem like a surprise, but we have been inside the team since the preparation process and have closely seen the potential of the players, their attitude to training and the effort they put in. If there is discipline, systematic work and continuous development, it is natural for it to produce results at a certain stage. We consider this successful start not as a coincidence, but as a logical result of planned and purposeful activity. However, the main thing is not to be complacent and for the achievements to motivate us to work harder.
- Could the results have been better if the team played in Imishli?
- Of course, playing at home is a serious advantage for any team. Imishli fans love football and are distinguished by their commitment to the team. We believe that if we could hold home games in Imishli, this would have a positive impact on the results and further strengthen the team-fan relationship. However, we are trying to adapt to the current conditions as they are and we are not looking for excuses under any circumstances.
- By the way, is there any news about the stadium?
- We are in constant contact with various organizations regarding the stadium issue and work in this direction is ongoing. However, there are certain points that are beyond the competence of the club to resolve. We hope that with the support of the relevant authorities, this issue will be resolved positively in the near future. The stadium issue is always in the spotlight and we also want the team to return to Imishli as soon as possible. This will be an important event not only for the football players, but for the entire community of the region. However, considering the real situation, we must accept that such processes are not resolved in a short time. We hope that in the near future it will be possible to see our fans in their own stadiums at "Imishli" home games.
