İdman.Biz reports this with reference to MMA Fighting.
According to court documents, Hunt was arrested today, April 15, on charges of stalking or intimidating with intent to cause physical harm. It was also reported that Hunt sent a woman a threatening SMS message. After the arrest, Hunt spent the night in police custody.
At the initial court hearing, Hunt was charged with behaving aggressively towards the alleged victim and a witness because the witness had helped her with a case. Investigators allege that Hunt behaved in a "frightening and abusive manner" and caused the victim "fear and apprehension," which led to the police being called.
Hunt's lawyers have indicated that he will plead guilty to the charge, but the former UFC fighter's lawyers have denied sending a death threat. As a result, no further charges were filed against Hunt in connection with this message.
Hunt has already been released on bail, agreeing not to contact the alleged victim. His next court hearing is scheduled for April 30.
Mark is 52 years old. His professional MMA record includes 13 wins, 14 losses, 1 draw, and 1 no contest. Hunt competed professionally from 2004 to 2018.
