The Azerbaijani national team achieved successful results at the Shinkyokushinkai European Championship held in Debrecen, Hungary. Sport24.az reports that the national team represented our country at the competition under the leadership of Allahverdin Rustamov, Vice President for Contact Styles of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation.
Solmaz Zeynalli (59 kg) and Selahaddin Hasanov (80 kg) won bronze medals. Balaami Ahmadov (60 kg) had to settle for a silver medal.
Allahverdi Rustamov and Samir Farzaliyev also represented our country as referees in the international competition.
