Today, the women's "Neftchi" 3x3 basketball team successfully started at the stage of the World Series held in the Philippines. The 30-year-old Russian basketball player Yelizaveta Bratcikova is also with the team in Manila.
According to Idman.Biz, this is also confirmed by her posts on social networks. Earlier, the media reported that the Russian athlete could play for the Azerbaijani national team after her sports citizenship was confirmed.
However, the basketball player's name is not on the official list of participants of "Neftchi" for this competition. It is assumed that Bratcikova joined the tournament to participate in the training of the Azerbaijani team.

In response to Idman.Biz's request regarding the issue, the press service of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation indirectly confirmed the information about the athlete's transfer to the national team and stated that an official statement will be made after accurate information is obtained.
At the same time, Yelizaveta Bratcikova's FIBA 3x3 profile already states two citizenships - Russian and Azerbaijani. However, Russia is still shown in the national team section.
According to FIBA 3x3 data, the athlete does not have extensive experience in 3x3 basketball. Her profile shows that she participated in only one tournament, the "Tinkoff Girl Power" competition. At that time, she played for the "What is thizzz" team and played three games.
In classic basketball, the athlete played for various Russian clubs. In the 2025/2026 season, Bratcikova was not officially registered with any club. Last season (2024/2025), she averaged 5.2 points and 2.8 rebounds in the Russian Premier League as a member of the "Nika" club.
At the national level, she played for the Russian youth and junior national teams. In 2022, she was invited to the open camp of the Russian women's national team.
