The last 1/4 final matches of the playoff stage of the Azerbaijan Basketball League (ABL) have been held. Sport24.az reports that in the first game of the day, Neftchi won 102:97 over NTD in overtime.
With this victory, Neftchi won the series 2:1 against NTD and officially qualified for the semifinals. In the semifinals, Neftchi's opponent will be Abşeron Lions basketball players, who won 0:2 in the series against Shaki club.
In the second match of the day, Ordu and Ganja clubs faced each other. The game ended with Ganja's 88:78 victory. With this victory, Ganja won the series 2:1 against its opponent and will compete against the last champion Sabah in the semifinals, who defeated Nakhchivan 0:2 in the series.
The first games in the semifinal play-off series will be held on April 22-23. According to the regulations, the clubs that win two games earliest in the series will qualify for the final.
