The selection process for the national team has started among 30 basketball players selected from 120 13-year-olds at the Zuğulba training sports base.
İdman.biz reports that the selection process is headed by Serbian specialist Milan Kotorac, the chief coordinator for children's basketball of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation (ABF).
The technical skills, tactical thinking ability, and physical fitness level of the basketball players are evaluated by the Serbian specialist and other local coaches.
The main purpose of the review stage is to identify talented players who can represent the national team in the future and to assess their development potential.
It should be noted that the selection stage will be completed on August 31.
