"Sabah" has completed its next transfer in the off-season.
Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijani champion has signed a 2-year contract with 27-year-old French national basketball player Jean-Marc Pansa.
The new transfer, who is 207 cm tall, plays as a power forward.
Pansa last played for "JL Bourg en Bresse", a participant in the French Betclic ELITE ProA league. There, in 34 games, he averaged 7.3 points and 3.9 rebounds, helping his team reach the semi-finals. Pansa also played in 18 Eurocup tournament games, averaging 8.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocks. In the 2023/2024 season, he played for another French team, "Boulazac Basket" (ProB).
Pansa has been called up to the French national team since 2024. He has also previously played in France for "Olympique Antibes", "Pole France", "JSF Nanterre" and "Nanterre". Jean-Marc, who has received a number of awards throughout his career, played in the final series of the French ProB league in 2024. In the same year, he was chosen as the "best local player of the year" in the French ProB league by Eurobasket.com.
It should be noted that "Sabah" will play in the Champions League in the 2025/2026 season.
