"Sabah", the winner of the 2025/2026 season of the Azerbaijan Basketball League, has been awarded.
Idman.Biz reports that Farid Gayibov, the Minister of Youth and Sports, and Emin Amrullayev, the President of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation, presented the championship cup and gold medals to "Sabah", who defeated "Absheron Lions" in the final.
Silver medals were given to the players of the "Absheron Lions" team, which finished the season in second place.
In addition, Justin Tillman from "Sabah" was selected as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the season and received a special award.
"Sabah", who won all three games of the final series (98:93, 112:84, 108:95), became the champion of the 2025/2026 season.
