"Sabah" Basketball Club has announced the termination of cooperation with head coach Rimas Kurtinaitis by mutual agreement.
İdman.Biz reports that the club became champion last season under the leadership of the Lithuanian head coach.
"During his time at our club, Rimas Kurtinaitis made a significant contribution to the development and success of our team with his professionalism, experience and leadership qualities. Under his leadership, our team became the national champion three times in a row. He successfully represented Azerbaijani basketball in the international arena.
Rimas Kurtinaitis has also played an important role in the development of Azerbaijani basketball for many years. Our club highly appreciates his contributions to the country's basketball.
Taking into account the coach's desire to pay more attention to his activities in the Lithuanian national men's basketball team in the coming period, the parties have reached a mutual agreement to terminate the cooperation.
