The selection process for the national team among 30 basketball players selected from 120 13-year-olds has started at the Zuğulba training sports base. Sport24.az reports that the selection process is led by Serbian specialist Milan Kotorac, the chief coordinator for children's basketball of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation (ABF).
The technical skills, tactical thinking ability, and physical fitness level of basketball players are evaluated by the Serbian specialist and our other local coaches.
The main purpose of the review stage is to identify talented players who can represent the national team in the future and to assess their development potential.
It should be noted that the selection stage will be completed on August 31.
