Memphis forward Brandon Clarke has died at the age of 29.
Brandon Clarke, a forward for the NBA basketball club Memphis Grizzlies, has died at the age of 29.
İdman.Biz reports this with reference to TMZ. His cause of death has not been revealed.
Clarke was selected by Memphis with the 21st overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft and spent all seven seasons of his career with the club.
In April 2026, Clarke was arrested in Cross County, Arkansas on charges of possessing a prohibited substance, speeding and improper lane change. He was released on bail the next day.
The Canadian center began his career at San Jose State and later played for Gonzaga. Clarke, along with Ja Morant, was one of the longest-tenured players on the Grizzlies roster.
