New information about the new head coach of Azerbaijan's "Sabah" basketball club has been published in the Lithuanian press.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to the "Lrytas" publication that Serbian coach Lazar Spasic will replace Lithuanian specialist Rimas Kurtinaitis, who left the team at the end of the season.
Kurtinaitis left "Sabah" by mutual agreement. According to Lithuanian sources, the experienced specialist wants to pay more attention to his country's men's basketball team.
Spasic's last job was with the German basketball club "EWE Baskets Oldenburg". The 33-year-old coach has received a long-term offer from "Sabah" and is close to continuing his career in Azerbaijan.
