Huseyn Gaflanov, a member of the Azerbaijan U-18 national basketball team, is happy to have signed a professional contract with the "Sabah" club.
Idman.biz reports that the 18-year-old player himself stated this in an interview with "Report".
He plans to achieve great goals in his new team: "It's great to sign a contract with Sabah. I am both happy and excited to start my career in a professional club. I am aware that Sabah is fighting for high places and setting big goals. When the offer came, I accepted it with great enthusiasm. I am always open to learning new things. I will continue to learn the secrets of basketball from my teammates and coaches."
H. Gaflanov said that the basketball education he received at the "NBA school" in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, and at the Southern California Academy in the USA, will benefit him in his future career:
"I think any experience is useful for an athlete. I believe that I will be useful to Sabah with the experience I have learned. The competition is high in this team. I have to work hard to strengthen my position in the main team."
It should be noted that the latest national champion "Sabah" has signed a "2+1" year contract with Huseyn Gaflanov.
