The Azerbaijani national team consisting of U-16 female basketball players became the champion at the "Airom Cup" international tournament held in Atyrau, Kazakhstan.
The press service of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation informed "Report" about this.
In the final games of the U-16 competition, they defeated the Kazakhstan's "Barsy Atyrau" club with a score of 68:32, and the Russian "MBU Volgograd" team with a score of 58:47.
It should be noted that the national team won this championship by completing all its games as a winner.
