Zinedine Zidane has signed a four-year contract with the French Football Federation (FFF). According to Sport24.az, the news was announced by the publication "L'Equipe".
According to the source, the agreement was signed before the new sports law in France, which sets a salary limit of 450,000 euros per year, came into force.
Therefore, the FFF will not need to obtain special permission from the government for Zidane's salary. The terms and salary specified in his contract will remain completely confidential.
The official presentation ceremony of the new head coach of the French national team is expected to take place on July 28.
It is noted that Zidane will replace Didier Deschamps, who has been leading the team for 14 years.
