The Azerbaijan women's national basketball team lost in the first match of the qualifying round for the European Championship, which will be held in 2027. Sport24.az reports that the team, coached by Evren Alkaya, faced Bulgaria in Group E.
The match at the Baku Sports Hall ended with the opponent's victory - 141:48.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani team will host Montenegro on November 15.
