Aston Martin, the British team, is aiming to return to competition in Formula 1 with a new technical package.
Sport.Biz reports, citing Reuters, that the team's track leader, Mike Krack, has spoken about the preparations for the Hungarian Grand Prix. According to him, the new chassis, aerodynamic innovations, and weight reduction can improve the team's position.
Aston Martin is currently in 10th place among 11 teams in the constructors' championship and has scored only 1 point in 10 races.
"We've been far from competition in recent races. The main goal is to get back in the game," Krack said.
The team will also receive a more powerful Honda engine at the end of August at the Dutch Grand Prix.
