The Azerbaijan Basketball Cup kicks off today. Sport24.az reports that two matches will take place on the first match day of the 1/8 final stage.
"Nakhchivan" will face "Guba", and "Neftchi" will face "Lankaran".
The starting whistle of the first match, which will be held at the Baku Sports Palace, will sound at 17:00, and the second match will start at 20:00. On January 14, the games "Shaki" - "Sarhadchi" and NTD - "Sumgayit" will be held.
It should be noted that the winner of the "Nakhchivan" - "Guba" pair will face "Sabah" in the next stage, and the winner of the "Neftchi" - "Lankaran" duel will face "Ganja". The winner of the "Shaki" - "Sarhadchi" match will face "Absheron Lions" in the 1/4 finals, and the stronger of the NTD - "Sumgayit" pair will clarify relations with "Ordu". The games of this round will take place between February 18-22.
