The Azerbaijani national team of girls under 18 will compete in Division B of the European Championship for the first time.
This was reported to "Report" by the press service of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation.
The Division B matches will be held in Vilnius and Alitus, Lithuania, from July 4-13.
The Azerbaijani team will compete in Group C against the teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Ukraine, Iceland and Lithuania.
The first match of the national team, led by Turkish specialist Evren Alkaya, will be against Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 4.
