Azerbaijan's "Absheron Lions" basketball team played its first game in the European Cup. Sport24.az reports that the team, coached by Erhan Toker, defeated the Cypriot representative "Anorthosis" in Baku in the first game of the first qualifying round.
The match at the Baku Sports Palace ended with a score of 89:73 in favor of our team.
It should be noted that the second match between the teams will take place on October 1 in Limassol.
