Today, 3 Azerbaijani wrestlers will start competing in the World Championship held in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.
"Report" informs that the opponents of our Greco-Roman wrestlers Nihat Mammadli (60 kg) and Ulvi Ganizade (72 kg), who will take to the mat on the seventh day of the competition, will be determined after the qualifying stage.
Murad Ahmadiev (97 kg) will first clarify his relationship with Italian representative Nikoloz Kakhelashvili.
Eldaniz Azizli (55 kg), who lost in the semi-finals yesterday, will compete for a bronze medal today. He will face the winner of the match between Ulan Muratbek Uulu (Kyrgyzstan) and Artyom Delenau (Moldova).
It should be noted that the team currently has 4 medals. Free wrestlers Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) won silver, while Nureddin Novruzov (61 kg), Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg) and Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg) won bronze medals.
