Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers will start competing today at the world championship, which will start in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Sport24.az reports that Nuredin Novruzov (61 kg), Kenan Heybatov (70 kg), Arseniy Dzioev (86 kg) and Giorgi Meshvildishvili will be the first to take to the mat.
Novruzov, Meshvildishvili and Dzioev's first opponents will be known after the qualifying round. Heybatov will face Iranian Amir Mohammad Yazdani in this round.
It should be noted that the World Cup will end on September 21.
