Idman.Biz reports that four members of the Azerbaijani national freestyle wrestling team stepped onto the mat on the seventh day of the competition - Jeyhun Allahverdiyev (61 kg), Aykhan Abdullazade (65 kg), Ali Tsokayev (86 kg) and Zafar Aliyev (97 kg).
Allahverdiyev, Abdullazade and Tsokayev defeated their opponents and advanced to the 1/4 finals. Zafar Aliyev stopped the fight after losing in the second match.
Today, two more athletes from the Azerbaijani national team - Kenan Heybatov (70 kg) and Khetag Karsanov (125 kg) will go to the final match and fight for a gold medal.

Currently, the Azerbaijani national team has four medals: two gold and two bronze. Elmir Aliyev (55 kg) and Ziya Babashov (63 kg) became world champions. Ruslan Nurullayev (72 kg) and Gunay Gurbanova (59 kg) took third places.
