Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers Orkhan Hajiyev (87 kg) and Mazahir Mardanov (130 kg) failed to win medals at the U-20 World Championship held in Samokov, Bulgaria.
Idman.biz reports that Hajiyev and Mardanov lost in the bronze medal matches to Kazakhstan's Temirlan Turdakin (4:4) and Ukraine's Ivan Yankovsky (0:8), respectively.

In the consolation match, Orkhan Hajiyev defeated Japanese Issin Onitsuka with a score of 12:3.
In turn, Mazahir Mardanov also won the consolation match against Japanese Kosei Miyaki with a score of 9:0.
