The U-20 World Wrestling Championship continues in Samokov, Bulgaria.
Idman.biz reports that 4 more freestyle wrestlers from Azerbaijan have joined the competition on the second day of the World Championship.
Among them, Anar Jafarli advanced to the semifinals.

Vasif Baghirov defeated Brazilian Kayo Arona with a score of 6:1 and advanced to the 1/4 finals. However, he lost to Sumit Malik from India with a score of 2:9 on the way to the semifinals.

Aga Gasimov lost to Amal Candubaev (UWW) from Russia with a score of 0:10 in the qualifying stage.

Muradkhan Omarov won against David Gil from Spain with a score of 9:2 in his debut, and David Tartan from Romania with a full advantage (10:0), and qualified for the 1/4 finals. Our wrestler lost to Said Saidulov (UWW) from Russia with a score of 0:10 at this stage.

Anar Jafarli defeated Orazmuhammet Hocaliyev from Turkmenistan with a score of 3:2 in the first stage. Our compatriot then defeated both Aleksey Kulakov (UWW) from Belarus and Sachin Sachin from India with a score of 10:0 and advanced to the semifinals. Anar will face Kamil Kuruqliyev from Kazakhstan on the way to the final.
The semifinals will start at 18:00 Baku time.
It should be noted that today 2 of our wrestlers - Nurlan Aghazade (70 kg) and Yusif Dursunov (125 kg) will also compete for the bronze medal.
