Today, the matches of Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers at the U-17 European Championship held in Samokov, Bulgaria, have been determined.
Idman.Biz reports that in the qualifying stage, Huseyn Rzazade (48 kg) will face Georgian Lasha Koridze, Rashid Nazarov (65 kg) will face Georgian Bidzina Jintcharadze, Nihad Suleymanli (80 kg) will face Georgian Rati Revazashvili, and Hakim Tagiyev (110 kg) will face Russian Magomed Omarov, while in the 1/8 finals, Abbas Shafiyev (55 kg) will face Turkish Muhammed Yigit.
It should be noted that our female wrestler Simura Abdullayeva (69 kg) will also compete in a consolation match at the U-17 European Championship in Bulgaria. She will face Russian Polina Yefimova.
The competition will end on May 17.
