In his first match, he defeated Indian Anil Morana on the quality of points (9:9) and qualified to compete in the 1/4 finals.

Idman.biz reports that our Greco-Roman wrestler Farim Mustafayev, competing in the 67 kg weight category, defeated Turkish Abdullah Keskin with a score of 7:2 and advanced to the semifinals.
Before that, he defeated Ukrainian Vladislav Pokotilo 4:3 and Armenian Narek Grigoryan 3:1.
Our compatriot Ismail Rzayev, who wrestles in the 97 kg Greco-Roman category, also defeated Korean Jaeno Choi with a full advantage (10:0) and advanced to the 1/8 finals.
