Simura Abdullayeva (69 kg) also defeated Bulgarian wrestler Natalia Taseva with a "fall" and qualified for the 1/4 final stage.

Today, members of the Azerbaijan U-17 women's Greco-Roman wrestling team joined the competition on the fourth day of the European Championship held in Samakov, Bulgaria.

In the qualifying round, Nuray Jafarli in the 46 kg weight category will face Frosina Atanasova from North Macedonia.
In the 1/8 finals, Fatima Bayramova, competing in the 53 kg category, will face the winner of the match between Russian representative Malita Bolatova and Ecrin Salık from Turkey.
In the same stage, Fidan Babayeva in the 61 kg category will face the winner of the pair of Moldovan athlete Lidia Ana Ungureanu and Swedish representative Inez Ester Lea Airaksinen.
In the 69 kg category, Simura Abdullayeva will test her strength against Bulgarian wrestler Natalia Georgieva Taseva.
In the 1/4 finals, Gulkhana Shirinova in the 40 kg weight category will face Russian representative Zlata Koreshova.
It should be noted that the competition will end on May 17.
