Manchester City have included Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister in their list of candidates in case Rodri leaves.

According to the source, the Argentine player could be a more favorable choice for City this summer compared to other potential targets like Enzo Fernandez (Chelsea) and Adam Wharton (Crystal Palace). It is noted that Manchester City have not yet contacted Liverpool about transferring Mac Allister.
An agreement for Rodri's 55 million pound (64.3 million euro) transfer to Barcelona is expected to be reached in the coming days.
Last season, Mac Allister played in 55 games in all competitions, scoring five goals and making seven assists. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2028. According to Transfermarkt, the player's market value is 70 million euros.
