Slovan Bratislava has prevented a second "Bodo-Glimt" miracle in the Champions League.
Sport.Biz reports that the team met with Sweden's Malmö in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League at home.
The match ended 2-0 in favor of the Slovaks.
Having won the first match 2-1, Slovan advanced to the Champions League playoffs. Malmö, on the other hand, will continue their struggle in the playoffs of the Europa League.
Recall that Malmö, a small fishing village in Sweden (population 1485), became the country's champion for the first time in the club's history last year.
The team, which is participating in the Champions League for the first time, eliminated Lincoln from Gibraltar in the second qualifying round.
Last year, Bodo-Glimt, a small town in Norway, reached the playoffs by passing the main stage of the Champions League.
