Ali Javadli (45 kg), a member of the Azerbaijani U-17 Greco-Roman wrestling team, faced Russian Umar Bogatyrev in the final of the European Championship held in Samakov, Bulgaria.
Idman.Biz reports that Javadli defeated his opponent with a clear superiority (9:1) and became the U17 European champion.
Our other wrestler, Huseyn Mustafazade (51 kg), defeated Georgian Davit Shavadze with a clear superiority (9:1) and won a bronze medal at the U17 European Championship.

Today, members of the Azerbaijani U-17 Greco-Roman wrestling team will compete in decisive matches in the final and bronze medal matches of the European Championship held in Samakov, Bulgaria.
Idman.Biz reports that Ali Javadli (45 kg) will face Russian representative Umar Bogatyrev in the final.
In the bronze medal match, Zohrab Safarov (92 kg) will compete based on the results of the matches between Moldovan representative Vladislav Vasylevski, Sagi Yaakov Mirel from Israel, and Robert Kovalkov from Estonia.
The meetings will start at 19:00 Baku time.
