A master class was held within the framework of the III Zafar Sports Festival organized by Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzMIU).
Haji Aliyev, a 2-time Olympic medalist, 3-time world and 4-time European champion in freestyle wrestling, and Eldaniz Azizli, a 4-time world and 2-time European champion in Greco-Roman wrestling, held a master class for young wrestlers at the AzMIU Sports Club.
In the theoretical part, H.Aliyev spoke about his achievements in wrestling and the path to these achievements, as well as conveyed his recommendations to teenagers and young people. In the practical part, E.Azizli demonstrated the implementation of various techniques. Our wrestlers, who wrote history on the carpet, stated that it is not enough to just train in the hall to become a successful athlete, education and spiritual development also play an important role in this.
At the end of the event, our famous athletes answered various questions from students.
