The head of the Federation congratulated freestyle wrestler Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg), who won a bronze medal at the world championship held in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia: "Our national wrestling team continues its success at the world championship held in Zagreb, Croatia. It should be noted that Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers won four medals at the world championship. Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) won silver, and Nureddin Novruzov (61 kg), Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg) and Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg) won bronze awards.
