The traditional international Ali Aliyev freestyle wrestling tournament was held in Kaspiysk, Russia, over the weekend.
Idman.Biz reports that the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation (AGF) has released information about this.
It was reported that members of the Azerbaijani national team also participated in the competition. Our wrestlers Ruslan Abdullayev (65 kg) and Abubakr Abakarov (92 kg) performed successfully and climbed to the third step of the podium.
Both athletes finished the tournament with a bronze medal.
