Azerbaijani wrestlers will compete in the "Muhamet Malo" tournament to be held in Tirana, the capital of Albania.

It was reported that the country will be represented by our freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling teams in the second ranking competition of the year. The competition will take place between February 25 and March 1.
Freestyle wrestlers will start the tournament, which will be held in the "Olympic Park". Under the leadership of head coach Khetag Gazyumov, senior coach Jabrayil Hasanov and coach Sharif Sharifov, Islam Bazarqanov (57 kg), Rashid Babazade (65 kg), Turan Bayramov, Kenan Heybatov (both 74 kg), Jabrayil Hajiyev (79 kg), Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg), Magomedkhan Magomedov (97 kg) and Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) will step onto the mat.
In the last days of the competition, Greco-Roman wrestling competitions will take place. Under the leadership of head coach Mahammad Bana, coaches Rovshan Bayramov, Rasul Jazini and Sabah Shariati, Hikmat Hagverdiyev, Rashad Mammadov (both 55 kg), Nihat Mammadli, Nihad Guluzade (both 60 kg), Sakit Guliyev, Ziya Babashov, Murad Mammadov (all 63 kg), Mahammad Shukurzade (67 kg), Ruslan Nurullayev (72 kg), Davud Mammadov (77 kg), Tuncay Vazirzade (82 kg), Islam Abbasov, Lachin Veliyev (both 87 kg), Murad Ahmadiev, Mahammad Ahmadiev, Arif Niftullayev (all 97 kg), Beka Kandelaki and Sarkhan Mammadov (both 130 kg) will compete.
Meetings will start every day at 13:30 Baku time. The matches for medals will start at 21:00. I-S category judge Asif Shiraliyev will ensure justice in the ranking tournament.
