Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers have started competing in the "Muhamet Malo" tournament held in Tirana, the capital of Albania.
"Report" informs that one of our representatives in the rating tournament qualified for the final, and the other two qualified for the match for the third place.
Rashid Babazade, competing in the 65 kg weight category, performed successfully until the semi-finals and won the right to participate in the gold medal match by defeating Vitali Orujov, an American world champion of Azerbaijani origin, on the way to the final.
Islam Bazarqanov (57 kg) and Arseniy Djioyev (86) will test their strength in matches for third place.
The medal matches will start at 21:00 Baku time.
