Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers have started competing in the "Muhamet Malo" tournament held in Tirana, the capital of Albania. Sport24.az reports that one of our representatives qualified for the final in the rating tournament, while the other two qualified for the match for third place.
Rashid Babazade, competing in the 65 kg weight category, performed successfully until the semi-finals and defeated Azerbaijani-American world champion Vitali Orujov on the way to the final, gaining the right to participate in the match for the gold medal.
Islam Bazarqanov (57 kg) and Arseniy Djioyev (86) will test their strength in the matches for third place.
The matches for medals will start at 21:00 Baku time.
