Azerbaijani wrestlers are preparing for important competitions in various locations

Azerbaijan's national wrestling teams continue their preparations for the upcoming important competitions in various locations.

Idman.Biz reports that the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation has released information about this.

The women's wrestling team is holding a training camp in Goygol. The preparation process, which started on March 22, will continue until April 4. 12 wrestlers are participating in the training camp organized at the Goygol Olympic Sports Complex under the leadership of acting head coach Toghrul Asgarov, senior coach Agahuseyn Mustafayev and coach Hasrat Mammadov.

The U-20 national freestyle wrestling team is also continuing its training camp in the same location. Training, which started on March 15, will last 14 days. 20 wrestlers are participating in the training camp under the leadership of senior coach Arif Abdullayev, coaches Rovshan Hajiyev and Nazim Alijanov.

The U-17 Greco-Roman wrestling team has been holding a joint training camp with the teams of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan in Almaty, Kazakhstan since March 15. 22 wrestlers are participating in the preparation process, which will continue until the 26th of the month, under the leadership of senior coach Rafig Huseynov, coaches Kamran Mammadov and Zohrab Abbasov.

The freestyle wrestling team in this age group will go to Khachmaz. From March 27 to April 9, 30 athletes will prepare for the upcoming competitions at the Khachmaz Olympic Sports Complex under the leadership of senior coach Asgarxan Novruzov, coaches Vahid Mammadov, Yashar Aliyev and Allahverdi Valiyev.
