Today, Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers will join the competition at the World Championships, which are continuing in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.
Idman.biz reports that four of our wrestlers will test their strength in the competition - 4-time world champion Eldaniz Azizli (55 kg), Sanan Suleymanov (77 kg), Gurban Gurbanov (82 kg) and Beka Kandelaki (130 kg).
It should be noted that before this, our freestyle wrestling team finished the World Cup with 4 medals. Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) won silver, while Nureddin Novruzov (61 kg), Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg) and Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg) won bronze medals.
