Abubakr Abakarov Wins Gold Medal at Tournament in Minsk

A memorial tournament dedicated to three-time Olympic champion Alexander Medved was held in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Sport24.az reports that Abubakr Abakarov (92 kg), a member of the national freestyle wrestling team, performed successfully at the competition held for the 55th time.

 

Our representative, who defeated all his opponents, climbed to the highest step of the podium.

 

In the final, Abubakr won a convincing victory over Dagestani Gamzat Gasanov - 12:5.
