Changes have been made to the volleyball competition program of the VI Islamic Solidarity Games.
"Report" informs that the Azerbaijani national team of women volleyball players competing in the VI Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, will play their first game tomorrow.
Our team will face Iran instead of Tajikistan as originally planned. The reason for this is that the Tajikistan team could not travel to Riyadh on time for certain reasons. According to the decision of the organizing committee, the national team's opponent tomorrow is Iran.
It should be noted that the team will face the teams of Tajikistan, Turkey and Afghanistan in the next games.
According to the regulations, the teams that take the first two places will compete for the gold medal, and the teams that take the third and fourth places will compete for the bronze medal. The final and third-place games will be held on November 13.
