A training camp has started in Sheki for a group of boys' volleyball players under the age of 14.
Idman.Biz reports that this stage of the preparation process, organized by the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation, will last until May 24.
The training camp started on May 4 in Baku, at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex. About 20 young volleyball players selected from different regions of the country have been involved in the preparation process.
The training is led by Jahangir Seyed Abbasi, the head coach of the national team consisting of teenage and young boys. The preparation is organized based on a special program.
During the training process, special attention is paid not only to the physical preparation of athletes, but also to the development of their technical and tactical skills. At the same time, training is conducted to form team play and strengthen game discipline.
The main purpose of the training camp is to identify promising volleyball players, support their development, and prepare them for the national teams in various age groups in the future.
It is planned to involve athletes who distinguish themselves during the preparation process in the national teams.
