As part of the "Selection Day" project, a selection process was organized for volleyball players consisting of teenagers and young boys at the Sheki Olympic Sports Complex. Sport24.az reports with reference to the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation that the selections were made by Jahangir Seyed Abbasi, the head coach of the national team consisting of teenage and young boys.
A total of 64 athletes representing the Oguz, Ganja RVK and Tovuz VK teams participated in the process.
The physical fitness and technical-tactical skills of the participants were evaluated by the coaching staff, and the relevant candidates were shortlisted for the next stage.
It should be noted that the next stop of these tours, which are held to identify promising athletes, will be Nakhchivan.
