Rafael Petri, the head coach of the "Ganja" volleyball club, has arrived in Azerbaijan. Sport24.az reports that the Brazilian specialist has already led the team in its first training session.
The 44-year-old coach led Peru's "Alianza Lima" club to the national championship last season. This was the team's first title in 31 years.
It should be noted that Petry has worked in various clubs in Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Colombia, and the Czech Republic during his career. He also coached the Colombian U-17, U-18, and U-20 national teams and was the head coach of the Mexican national team from 2020 to 2022.
