The opponents of the Azerbaijani women's handball team, which will compete in the VI Islamic Solidarity Games to be held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, have been determined.
Idman.Biz reports that the press service of the Azerbaijan Handball Federation has released information about this.
The Azerbaijani national team will compete in Group B together with the national teams of Kazakhstan, Pakistan and Qatar. In Group A, there are the national teams of Turkey, Iran, Guinea and the Maldives.
Handball competitions at the Islamic Solidarity Games will be held from November 13 to 21.
It should be noted that the women's handball team won a gold medal at the analogous competition held in Baku in 2017, and a silver medal at the games held in Konya, Turkey in 2022.
