Mistakes by the "Azerreyl" men's volleyball team in the Champions League game against Serbia's "Radnicki" affected the result.
The captain of the Azerbaijani representative, Roman Merkushov, told "Report" about this.
He shared his thoughts on the match that took place yesterday:
"At the beginning of the meeting, we took the initiative and gained a slight advantage. But then the opponent changed their game, started putting pressure with their serves, and forced us to make more mistakes."
The volleyball player said that the guests played well in all elements:
"In general, we had many mistakes in attack and reception, which affected the final result. The opponent played well in all elements. In some moments, they forced us to take risks, which led to many mistakes. We have a few days to fix this in the return match."
It should be noted that "Azerreyl" lost the first match in Baku with a score of 0:3. The return game will take place in Serbia on October 29.
